Description:
This is a sweet 1850's cotton dress in a floral
pattern. The dress is white with a maroon print.
The dress has a gathered neck band Gathers fall
from beneath the base of the neck and shoulder
seams. Three sections of tight gathers point upward
to the bust from the natural waistline seam. Button
fasteners down the back. Long, set in sleeves fall
in gathers from the armcyes into more gathers at a
narrow wrist band. The bell shaped skirt falls in
tight gathers below the self piped waistline seam
with an upper panel 3" down from the waist. Two
rows of ruffles adorn the hemline.
