Description:
This is a fabulous 1850's pelerine in a fine lawn.
The pelerine has rolled hem along the inside edge.
Incredible hand embroidery runs along the outer
edge in a narrow paisley and vine pattern. Tiny
cutwork centers tiny flowers running along the
inside of each paisley. A fine net border with a
net ruffle borders along the edge. The ruffle has
embroidery along the outermost edge with tiny Swiss
dots on the inside. Finished hem edge on the bottom
points and at the center back with slight gathers
pointing upwards to create a slight pouch in
back.

Condition:
Wonderful condition. There are a couple of teeny
tiny pin holes, but nothing major. Repair down the
center back which I originaly thought was a
pleat.
