Description:
Okay, this has nothing to do with fashion, but I
found them, fell in love and had to get them. This
is a pair of nodder ashtrays from the 1930's. A boy
and girl in poiret costumes. The girls has black
shoes, blue stockings a blue dress with ruff and
cone hat. A cute painted face and with her arms
crossed. She nods from under her dress. The boy has
a white coat and pants with large black button
trim. A yellow ruff and red cone hat. He nods from
the neck. I don't know metals, but I think this
they are just a pot metal with a brass base.
Label: Made in Austria
Condition: Some
discoloration on the bases from use. Paint
scratches on edges mostly. Nothing awful. Her post
has been glued back in.
