Description:
This is the cutest little dress dating to around
c1900. The dress is a cotton candy pink cotton with
a white polka dot. The Empire bodice is trimmed in
white embroidered ribbon around the square
neckline, over the chest and across the raised
waistline. Hand embroidered and scalloped lace
ruffles around the top of the neckline and over the
gathered sleeve wings. Short, puff sleeves are set
in to the armcyes and are gathered tightly into a
narrow band also trimmed in the white ribbon and
lace. Full, gathered skirt falls from beneath the
waistline. Placket at the center back with three
button closure on the bodice.
