Description: This is a gorgeous 1840's bonnet in woven horsehair and straw. The bonnet has a wire frame with bands of horsehair crossing over the top. Rows of delicate lace horsehair covers the bonnet between the bands. Dainty woven straw outlines the bonnet and cuts across the bonnet along each horsehair band. Label: None Condition: Very fragile. There is one clean slit cutting diagonally through the horsehair lace as shown in photo. There are also a couple more tiny breaks here and there, but nothing major. Size: One size.
