Description: This is a ladies bonnet from c.1880 in brown chip straw. Small brim stands off front of the bonnet. Brown painted mercury beads edge the bonnet. Brown gros grain ribbon crosses over the tops and ties under the chin. Brown velvet is rouched on the underbrim. Full black, polished cotton lining. Label: None Condition: Ribbon has been replaced.
