Description:
This is a c.1913 house dress in gray and white
stripe batiste. Small diamond pattern on the
stripes in white. The dress has a v-neckline with a
yoke in gray. Ivory crochet lace edges the neckline
and fills in the gap between the chest yoke and the
bodice. Tucks fall from the lace to either side of
the center front waistline. Released tucks fall
from the shoulders and open to fullness for the
bust. 3/4, Set in sleeves have wide cuffs and a
decorative tuck in gray and lace along the bottom
edge. Slender skirt falls with a box pleat down the
center front and back. Vertical cut panel stretches
across the lower skirt, trimmed in the gray. Center
back button closures.
