Description:
This is a shirt waist from c.1900 in white cotton.
The waist has a stand collar with an ivory trimmed
band along the top edge. Gorgeous ivory embroidery
adorns the collar and center front of the waist.
Center front box pleat with released pleats at the
shoulders. Gathers along the bottom waist band
creates the pigeon front waist. Long, set in
sleeves are gathered along the tops of the armcyes
and fall full to the wide cuffs with an embroidered
band finish. Button closures down the
back.
