Description:
This is a lovely blouse from c.1905 in ivory silk.
The blouse has a stand collar and chest yoke in
white floral lace and appliquéd to the front
silk panel. Horizontal pin tucks adorn the front.
Insertion lace on either side of the center front
panel with released pleats on the shoulders. The
front bodice is gathered at the center front to a
waist band. Full, inset sleeves are gathered along
the top edge of the armcyes and fall to gathers at
the wide cuffs. Pin tucks decorate the sleeves and
cuff with insertion lace along the top of the cuff
and a lace ruffle at the wrists. Center back hook
and eye closures.

Great condition. Someone must have been concerned
about the front lace yoke because they fused a fine
pale pink netting to the back side to secure
it.
