Description:
This is a 3pc dress from the late teens in ivory
silk brocade charmeuse and silk chiffon. The set
includes a shirt waist, skirt and over tunic. The
shirt waist has a square cut neckline with snap
closures down the front. Slight gathers point up to
the body of the blouse from the narrow waistband.
Silk chiffon panels are appliquéd over the
sides of the blouse wit short, set in sleeves. A
bias handkerchief flounce, attaches to the sleeve
with a row of faggoting. The gored skirt falls in
gathers from a narrow waistband. Side snap
closures. The tunic has a low scoop neckline with a
wide trim edge that drapes at the base of the neck.
Slight pout front blouse falls to gathers into a
narrow waistband. Gorgeous ivory embroidery with
pearls adorns the center front. The skirt also
falls in gathers from the waistband with a slit
down the left front. The same embroidery and pearls
decorates the lower corners, but the skirt is also
edged in gold beads.

Condition:
There has been alterations on the piece The gold
beading was added later. There is a large, outlined
water stain on the right side chest and one small
water spot on the left side. Several small dot
stains on the blouse and skirt.
