Description:
This is a sweet dress from c. 1918 in white
batiste. The dress has a chemise white batiste with
elbow length sleeves trimmed in white lace.
Overblouse has a rounded neckline of lace. Gathers
point upward from the waist to the bust. Lovely
crewel embroidery cross the chest. Gathered skirt
falls from the natural waistline with a wide hem.
Overskirt also falls in gathers from the waist with
vertical pleats on either side of the center front,
a wide tuck and a wide hem along the bottom. The
same embroidery decorates the skirt. The dress
fastens with a multitude of hooks and
snaps.

Condition:
There are a couple tiny dot stains and one about
the size of a nickel on the lower overskirt. Pea
size hole on the right side of the front overskirt
and one on the lower bodice.
