Description:
This is a lovely gown in white batiste from c.1910.
The gown has a tall neck of white lace. Flat panel
front with gathers pointing upward from the natural
waistline. Pin tucks cross the front and back of
the bodice. Elbow length, set in sleeves fall in
slight gathers from the amrcyes to a turned under
finish and lace border. Waist yoke with a slender
skirt falling from beneath the yoke. 5 Slender
gored skirt has decorative pin tucks and lower
flounce with self ruffles on the top and bottom.
The flounce flows to a lovely train. Button
fasteners down the back.

Condition:
Several small holes on the right front side of the
skirt. With a white petticoat underneath that would
barely be visible. One tiny stress tear next to one
of the bodice buttons.
