Description:
This is a gorgeous evening gown from 1956 in a pale
pink silk satin. The dress has a bustier bodice
with a panel cutting across the top of the chest,
hiding the darts and extending go the back waist
seam. Full length evening skirt falls from beneath
the natural waistline seam, dart fitted at the side
hips and full pleats across the back. The pleats
are stitched in a way that gives the appearance of
the back actually being an overskirt. Incredible
red, pink and green beaded floral appliqués
adorn the bodice and side skirt. The gown is fully
lined in pink silk, has a net crinoline and has a
center back zipper closure.

Condition:
Great condition. There are two tiny brown dot
stains on the front of the skirt and a small bluish
spot on the side skirt.
