Description:
This is a suit in black worsted wool. The suit has
a small collar in black velveteen and tiny notched
lapels. Fabric covered buttons fasten down the
center front. The jacket is dart fitted under the
bust and through the front waistline. Flared peplum
with side slits. The front sides are inverted
pleated with gold appliqués with amber
stones decorating the centers. 3/4 Sleeves are cut
in one with the jacket and have a narrow cuff band
and button decoration. Dart fitted skirt falls from
a narrow waistband. The jacket is fully lined in
red crepe.

Great condition. I think the side pleating and
appliqués were added by the owner to make it
more fitted.
