Description:
This is a late 20's dress in black silk crepe. The
dress has a rounded neckline, self piped with a
collar in black lace and an over collar in black
and white net lace. Flat front bodice with elbow
length sleeves that are cut in one with the bodice.
Undersleeves in the same black and white net lace
are gathered in at the wrist with a scalloped
flounce over the hand. The bodice and sleeves are
decorated with large black bugle beads and jet
stones. Fuller skirt falls in pleats from the
natural waistline with a waist sash also falling
from the waist seam. The sash is gathered on the
left side with a short tail. Black beading and tear
drop jet dangle from the tail.

Condition:
There is one dime size hole on the lace sleeve,
just below the upper sleeve. Several small holes in
the net lace collar. Two bugle beads missing from
the left sleeve.
